The project was designed and built on a vertical rock overlooking the Aegean Sea. Horizontal cut sections through the rock allowed the buildings to anchor and rest into the slope. The rocks extended vertically to become the plastered and then whitewashed walls of the house. The connections between the buildings became the stairs, the paths and terraces. Full grown olive trees and lightweight pergolas provide shelter from the summer sun.
